CFC Weekly Overview, November 18th- November 24th

“Hercules Test Week 2”

We are now entering the final week of our testing phase for the Hercules Cycle. This week we are rounding out our tests with the 3RM Deadlift on Monday, our 3RM Hang Squat Snatch on Friday, and some Benchmark Metcons with “Amanda” and “Big Kelly” as well as our #TEAMPRVN Tuesday workout this week with “Just Tap It In”. Almost named that one, “Tap Tap Tap-arooo” . This week will have a good flow and movement between styles of workouts, modalities and time domains. Monday will be a more focused Barbell Cycling workout that will be in the 6:00-9:00 time domain, then we will move to the more gymnastics stamina style workout on Tuesday with our #TEAMPRVN Tuesday workout before coming back around to a strength biased EMOM on Wednesday. Then we get into a longer aerobic capacity workout with a mixture of some bodyweight gymnastics and monostructural work before rounding out the main part of the week with “Amanda” and a high skill gymnastics and barbell cycling workout. Then comes the weekend where we will be tackling a long workout with “Big Kelly”. Here we have a long run to start each round and then Wall Balls and Box Jumps with big long chipper like sets to finish off each round. The goal here is sub 40 which should tell you something about the workout. There isn’t often we put these big challenges in like this that will challenge both physical and mental stamina to stay in the grind. Our Sunday workout will round things out with some barbell cycling and gymnastic capacity work with a mixture of the workouts “J.T.” and “Elizabeth”
