What is CrossFit Kids?

CrossFit Kids is meant to be BIG fun for all ages. CrossFit Kids is not a scaled down version of adults CrossFit, it’s in a league of its own creating Broad-Inclusive-General fun which helps install a love of fitness and activities outside there norm.

CrossFit Kids workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive and general and scale-able for any participant at any level.

This means that, for the most part, no two workouts are the same, so kids and teens never get bored and the novelty of each workout keeps them excited about participating.

The functional movements involve exercises that are fundamental to all things that kids need to do when they play-pull, push, run, throw, climb, lift and jump. All of the movements are taught safely and effectively under the close supervision of thoroughly trained CrossFit Kids Trainers.

Our workouts will increase physical competence in 10 fitness domains: Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.

CLASS TIMES:

Starting 3rd of February 2020

  • Monday – 3:40pm – 4:25pm
  • Wednesday3:40pm – 4:25pm
  • Friday – 3:40pm – 4:25pm

We welcome and encourage a free trial for your child to experience a class and meet the CrossFit kids coach

Important information:

All parents must sign a waiver before child participation. You can complete a waiver by clicking here<<<<<<<

Ensure your child turns up to the class 5 min prior to the scheduled start time and brings a water bottle. It is suggested that the children wear clothing that does not inhibit their movement and shoes must be worn at all times.

Your child’s safety is important to us. Please let us know of any special pick up arrangements. We request you come into the gym to pick your child up and do not leave them unattended.

If your child has any injuries from school or other sports, please inform the coach. Any allergies need to be notified to all CrossFit Coorparoo staff and coaches.

We are always happy to have a chat so please ask us any questions or concerns you may have! It is import to us that your child has fun learning with us, and we want you to be confident in our program.

3. Decide which option will best suit you?

4. Once you have completed the waiver, we will give you a call to organise a free trial class.

5. After the trial class you and your child can decide if the kids program is right for them.
