Bek Stokes has achieved amazing results over the years in both her fitness and body transformations. She takes on every CrossFit challenge with a positive approach which is inspirational to everyone she makes contact with.
Ryan Hole 32
Ryan had always been involved in sport growing up and attending the gym. However in recent time life got in the way of fitness being a priority. Even walking up a flight of stairs he would be out of breath. Ryan understood he had to make a change, and from that day he didn’t look back. Attending at least 3-4 CrossFit sessions a week. Ryan followed the process at CrossFit Coorparoo scaled WODs when needed, listened to coaches on ensuring movement and technique were on point and then intensity and load would come.
Along with learning many of the CrossFit skills, double under, kipping pull-ups, olympic lifting etc Ryan has dropped a huge amount of body fat, increased his muscle. Now at 32 he is stronger and fitter than he has ever been.
Ryan is well on track to achieve his goal at the end of the year performing all benchmark WODs as RXD. Well done little brother

I now have a 65kg back squat and 67.5 deadlift, I can Clean and Push Press 37.5 and do banded pull ups. I also can now do lunges and box step ups and run 10km comfortably 😁
Im going to be doing a 40km bike ride in July through my work (tour de logan its called haha). We guessed that at my biggest I was at least 115kg but didn’t weigh myself. In aug I was 101.6kg and NOW 73kg 🙂
Now 23rd June in recommended body fat range at 31% body fat. In September this was 46.7%. In sept I had 1406.9 grams of visceral fat which put me in high risk category for heart disease etc. But now 535.4 grams so now low risk.
Ive lost 20cm off my waist and 25cm off my hips. All this from a positive attitude and consistent training at CrossFit Coorparoo I couldn’t be more happy with my understanding and approach to health and fitness and the friends I have created over this fitness journey.

‘A quick rundown of my time at CFC.
I joined at the end of November 16 weighing 97.5kg (took 4 weeks off to go overseas in this time). My goal at that time was to lose 15kg and try to improve my general fitness. In the previous 10yrs apart from a few very short lived “going to the gym phases” I did practically no exercise.
7 months on, I now weigh in at 79kg (18.5kg loss) and can’t even begin to explain how my fitness levels have improved. One thing I always think back to was the second ever WOD I did which was 100 burpees for time (can’t remember the cap), I only managed to complete 32. It really knocked my confidence at the time realising how badly unfit I was. Now I look at myself completing the endurance WOD a few weeks back, in fact just completing any WOD and thinking how good it feels compared to that day.
Since starting at CFC I’m a lot healthier and happier. I never imagined when I first started that I’d come as far as I have. Still a long way to yet to build “the summer body” but I know I’m definitely in the right place with great coaches and surrounded by a great team of people to help me get there.’

I can not thank you and your team enough for everything you have done for me over the last 7 months. The changes in myself both physically and mentally that I have witnessed is something I never thought possible.
When i first walked into the box for my first session I was terrified, I weighed 116kg and had never done any real training or lifting. I was completely unfit and no had movement or coordination. With the encouragement and guidance of the coaches and the other members I soon found myself loving every minute of it. I never thought I would actually look forward to training but it has become one of the best parts of my day
If I fast forward to now, I’m down to 94kg and I feel I can hold my own through most WOD’s. I still have lots of work to do on overall fitness and technique, but with the knowledge I will take away from you and your coaches I no longer feel that this is impossible.
The community/family atmosphere you have created is something people need to experience to believe. I walked in knowing one person and will now leave with countless friends and memories. You and your staff should be very proud of what you have created.
Hopefully when I return to Brisbane to visit Family and Friends I can drop in for a session and catch up with the people that have completely changed my life.

‘Coorparoo has been more than just a place I workout! It’s become this addictive, challenging and uplifting experience that I can now not imagine being without.I have made life long friends and the cfc community Is something I have never come across. We are a family. The coaches continue to push me out of my comfort zone and I am always seeing personal growth! When I look back to that photo in February to now I can’t believe the impact cfc has not only had on my health and fitness

I don’t normally do this nor use bragbook often, but I need give a huge shout out to CFC!
The coaches at CFC say “they only provide the building blocks and foundation for our training, we do all the effort.” I think they underestimate their presence in the gym. Personally, these legends have helped me conquer huge battles and goals since joining CFC. Just so welcoming and inspiring. As is every single legendary member!

For me, the left photos were taken 2 weeks before joining Crossfit Coorparoo, to the right is a shot taken today.
I did crossfit for the first time this year. The results I got in a dexa scan yesterday, purely astounded me! I’ve lost 5% body fat whilst gaining 3.2kg of lean muscle mass. I’m shocked & stoked! I’m the fittest I’ve been. The last few months at CFC have been the major contribution to this result.
To Da Boyce at our 5am’s and all the CFC coaches…I hope you realize…you’re our John Farnhams…”You’re the voice”…..And who the heck doesn’t want another comeback tour of his in 2017!

I was only reflecting on my half Ironman performance today. It was my first serious endurance event since starting CrossFit at CrossFit Coorparoo and the proof was very much there for me to see. Traditionally I had only really trained for endurance and started back into weights to avoid having a real triathlete body where by your wrists are bigger than your biceps. Before starting the CrossFit at CFC I suffered a lot with knee issues when taking on an endurance event. Whilst Cairns still hurt more than nearly anything I have ever done I did not suffer from the normal aches and pains I previously did. I can directly attribute this to the strength and conditioning training at CFC, purely because it is the only difference I had made to my training.
This girl means business! Attending 6 sessions a week we have seen Hannah completely transform her body and become super strong. There is no challenge to hard for her and she continues to come into the sessions bright and early at 5am with a positive outlook on every session (even the wall balls, she luvs so much 🙂
From only just a few months ago was she Overhead Squatting a 15kilo bar, Hannah can now perform an Overhead Squat for reps at 30kilos. Continuing to shine in her Push Press for reps at 40kilos and that Deadlift at 110kilos!! Wow. Awesome work Hannah, leading by great example at every session. Bring on 2015 looking forward to watching your journey continue_________________________________________________________________________________________
Hey guys, Just a quick message to say thanks for everything I have learn’t over the past 6 months training with you, I can’t wait to continue to develop more and learn more. To be honest I was hesitant in trying CrossFit and with no previous fitness or gym experience I thought I was going to be out of my depth.
